The Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator must be clustered for Microsoft support of your SQL Server cluster configuration; You should have MSDTC on your SQL Server cluster if you plan using one of those features :
  • SSIS
  • Workstation Components
  • Distributed transactions
1On the right pan click Configure a Service or Application from the Actions section

2Click Next on the Before You Begin Page

3Select Distributed Transaction Coordinator (DTC) from the service or application list and then click Next
 image
4On the Client Access Point type the Network name of the MSDTC name and type it’s Virtual IP address  and then click Next
 image
5Select the shared disk that will be used for the MSDTC and then click Next
 image

7Click Finish on the Summary page
